Jabatha joins the Office Active fold

Jabatha joins the Office Active fold

Jabatha Paper and Stationery has exciting news to announce – we have just become the latest member of an elite club which will bear huge benefits for our customers!

Jabatha has been accepted as an approved member of the largest and most exclusive stationers’ dealer group in South Africa, Office Active Independent Office Products Alliance – an arm of Inovocom - and will begin to enjoy the benefits immediately.

Joining licenses are restricted in every region and approved according to stringent criteria, making membership of Office Active all the more special.  The chief requirements include having an established business, meeting a set minimum annual turnover and having existing contracts in place with large suppliers. Jabatha is very proud to have been accepted on these terms and intends to take full advantage of all the benefits on offer to pass on to our customers.

The biggest of these is undoubtedly the Office Active Catalogue, a complete office products directory, which allows members to show their customers the entire range of office supplies.  Customers will have access to over 4 600 stationery items, presented in a format that allows them to locate the products they’re looking for easily, conveniently and regularly.

So Jabatha’s customers will be able to order key merchandise and brands as well as new and innovative goods via a colour-coded category navigation system, using either the printed or online catalogue.  It also includes a facilities management category, the fastest growing category in Office Active’s business.

The Back-to-School brochure is another essential selling tool for stationers at their busiest time of year, making ordering simpler, easier and faster.  The brochure includes specific promotions accompanied by the member’s logo and contact details.

Jabatha will also boast a more professional website with the assistance of Office Active, including automatic updates, an online product database and online marketing, such as Google Adwords and Google Analytics, bulk mailer facilities and dealer promotions.  The eCommerce solution, on which we will have the assistance of a full support team, will make online ordering easier, safer and faster for our customers. Future enhancements will include a reporting ability to allow us to conduct accurate analyses of our customers.

On the supply side, Jabatha will reap the rewards of its Office Active membership, through an online trading platform including a quotation system, full product database, supplier deals and promotions.  We will be invited to our first dealers conference in July, at which we will enjoy more perks, such as an HP accreditation through Office Active’s HP Gold Status.  This stamp of approval allows us rebates on bulk buys of quality products, another benefit which is passed on to our customers. 


Right now Office Active’s eCommerce solution offers Jabatha’s business customers the convenience of purchasing online and very soon will extend that convenience to our end users as well.  It is a very exciting development because the growth and business opportunities in the eCommerce sector are endless.

Over and above all of these benefits and exceptional support and service afforded us through our membership, Jabatha will become involved in the effort being made by Office Active to do its bit for the environment. All members will inspire their customers to bring in their empty printer cartridges, toners, ribbons and drums for recycling by Office Active’s “green partner”, Carbon Footprint Africa.
